The male slotter blade is to groove the corrugated cardboard so that the cardboard can be folded to form a corrugated box. Female slotter blades have semi-circular acute-angle blades, right-angle blades, and slot-width retaining rings. They have no teeth and are mainly used to hold the cardboard in place.
